Tabriz – Respectful implementation of the nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) prepared the ground for Iran’s foreign relations, said Foreign Ministry representative in northwestern Iran, IRNA reported.
In a meeting with a commercial, cultural, social and tourism delegation from Turkey’s Van province, Esmaeil Babaei added that grounds are prepared for cooperation with Turkey in all political and commercial fields.
Expressing support to development of Turkey’s ties with Iran’s northwestern provinces, he said that four provinces of the region have prioritized establishment of strategic ties with the country and East Azarbaijan Governor General Esmaeil Jabbarzadeh always underlines the issue.
Babaei also said that the Iranian Foreign Ministry has paved the way for promoting relations with Van, Trabzon and Erzurum.
Meanwhile, Head of Tabriz Chamber of Commerce Samad Hassanzadeh said, ‘We have good economic cooperation and trade with the friendly country of Turkey and we will never forget its collaboration in times of sanctions.’
Iran’s successes in nuclear talks which led to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) proved that Iran is seeking mutual cooperation with different countries.
The official also called on the two countries’ businessmen to strive for materializing commercial exchanges worth of $30 billion.
