A group of Syrian Entrepreneurs and companies have presented a number of technological projects that showed their skills and expertise in technology within the framework of their participation in the 2-day “Digital Minds” Forum held at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The forum, which was organized by the Syrian Trust for Development and the Syrian Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, highlighted the Syrians’ efforts and skills in the field of technology during the past years under the title “Syrian Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship Forum”.
During the first day of the forum, the participants focused on digital transformation issues in Syria, the challenges facing Syrian Entrepreneurs in their bid to open technological companies, mainly the infrastructure and laws, and ways to reach certain initiatives that contain technological solutions to many services and social issues in Syria within the public and private sectors.
According to a statement by the Syrian Trust for Development, the first day also clarified how the Trust uses digital transformation in the areas of social development, technological entrepreneurship and the business incubators.
The second day of the forum witnessed holding several sessions that concentrated on the Syrian Entrepreneurs who have ideas for startup companies that need support or who have companies that need expansion with the aim of creating investment opportunities in the coming stage.
