Dialogue with Syrians and not with Saudis or Others !

The terrorism perpetrated against Syria is the same terrorism hitting in Iraq and Lebanon, which necessitates cooperation among all as a must in the face of terrorism, outlined Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi.

Minister al-Zoubi, interviewed by al-Mayadeen Satellite TV, reiterated the right of governments to defend their  people and countries against terrorism.

The Minister pointed out that the US scheme or the so-called ”Arab spring” in the region was doomed into  failure and so would be the scheme’s supporters and advocates.

Minister al-Zoubi declared that Western countries are convinced now that if terrorism were to achieve its goals in Syria, there would be grave and dire consequences against all, citing the ongoing contacts by some Western countries with the Syrian Government and specialized agencies for coordination on issues related to combating terrorism.

“We are going to Geneva for dialogue with Syrians and not with Saudis or others, given the presence of oppositions affiliated to different intelligence agencies, each of which has its own agenda, and all them don’t represent the Syrian People,” underscored Minister al-Zoubi.

Minister al-Zoubi reiterated that the Syrian Government goes to Geneva as not to hand over the keys of Damascus and that only H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad is the decision maker and the leader of the transitional phase, if we were to reach to such a phase.

” H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad is the leader of Syria and of the Resistance in the region and would remain the President of Syria,” outlined Minister al-Zoubi.

Minister al-Zoubi pointed out that there is no justification whatsoever for Saudi Arabia presence in any political process in the region, given the undeniable facts about the Saudi terrorists collaboration with the Saudi intelligence and not to mention the Saudi support to terrorism.
