Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities persist in violating the rights of detainees and deliberately neglecting their health conditions. It called on international humanitarian and human rights institutions, foremost among them is the Red Cross, to play their necessary role to stop the violations of the occupation.
The Commission stated in a statement on Monday, reported by Wafa News Agency that three detainees suffer from deteriorating health in the Negev prison, and they are the two prisoners, Samer Shroukh, 46, and Ahmed Awwad, 42, who suffer from heart diseases, toothaches, falling out, and most of them are damaged. “There is also thethe prisoner Omar Kamil, 50. A year-old who suffers from memory problems and poor concentration as a result of the hunger strike he went on for 20 days, which he suspended on the first of this month”, it added.
