Destruction of Al-Furat University’s buildings by US occupation poses a threat to the future of thousands of students

DEIR EZZOUR, Feb.7, (ST)- The Rector of Al-Furat University Taha Al-Khalifa said on Monday that the destruction of the university’s buildings in Hasakah city by the US occupation and the “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia created a dangerous situation for the educational process in a way that poses threat to the future of thousands of students.
 
In a press conference held in Deir Ezzour about the crimes of the SDF militia and the US occupation against the educational institutions, Khalifa  referred to the systematic attacks  that targeted some buildings of  al-Furat University in Hasakah city.
 
He clarified that the value of damages estimated at tens of billions of Syrian pounds, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
