On his wheelchair pushed by his friend, wounded veteran Bassel Habib Ali arrives from the Qadmous area to the Thaer Al-Juhani Center in Tartous Governorate to vote in the presidential elections. He stressed that his participation today is an extension of the sacrifices he made on the battlefield in the face of terrorism throughout the Syrian territories.
Habib, who was paralyzed and injured during a confrontation with the armed terrorist organizations at the Quiris Military Airport, was not the only one who came to the center, but rather one of the hundreds of wounded, families of martyrs and various groups of people from the governorate . They all flocked to the various electoral centers in the governorate to vote to choose their appropriate candidate.
Wounded Atef Mehrez Hazeem, who leans on a crutch to help him walk after an injury he suffered on the battlefields against terrorism, confirmed that he came today with his comrades to choose whoever leads Syria towards new victories.
With the help of his crutch too, injured Ismail Hassoun, from the city of Sheikh Badr, arrived at the polling centers to say his word on this day. He pointed out that nothing could deter him from participating in this entitlement, as he sees in it the near victory over all the pains he and his comrades suffered during the years of war.
