Demonstrators in different parts of the world: Israeli barbaric violence against the Palestinians must not be allowed to continue or go unpunished

Many countries of the world on Saturday witnessed demonstrations condemning the Israeli occupation’s continuous crimes towards the Palestinian people and voicing solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza who are currently under savage Israeli aggression.

In the Iraqi capital Baghdad, thousands of Iraqis took part in a massive demonstration condemning the Israeli aggression on Gaza and calling on the international community to pressure Israel to stop attacking the Palestinians and halt implementing its racist and Judaization schemes.

In London, demonstrators gathered near Hyde Park and marched towards the Israeli Embassy, raising the Palestinian flag and carrying placards calling for protecting the Palestinian people and land from the Israeli occupation.

In a statement, organizers of the demonstration, including the “Stop the War” coalition, the “Solidarity with Palestine” campaign and the “Nuclear Disarmament” campaign, said that this barbaric violence against the Palestinian people should not be allowed to continue or go unpunished, stressing that the Israeli occupation’s crimes in Gaza amount to war crimes.

The organizers pointed out that the British government will continue to be a partner in these criminal acts as long as it supports Israeli militarily, politically and financially.

The Palestinian Working Group in Australia as well as many Australian citizens organized massive demonstrations in Sidney, Melbourne and other  Australian cities in protest against the Israeli crimes towards the Palestinians in the occupied territories.

According to Palestinian media outlets, thousands of demonstrators raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans calling for halting the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the occupied city of Al-Quds and demanding an end to the Israeli occupation.

The American cities of California and Chicago also witnessed massive demonstrations condemning the Israeli continuous attacks on the Palestinians.

Wafa News Agency said that thousands of Palestinians, Arabs and foreign supporters of the Palestinian cause took to the streets of Chicago and California in protest against the Israeli continuous aggression on the Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds and the besieged Gaza Strip and criticizing the international silence over the Israeli crimes which are being committed under the sight of the entire world.

At the end of the demonstration, the participants submitted written petitions to the US Congress and Senate demanding support for the Palestinians and calling for halting the Israeli aggression.

In the same context, members of the Palestinian and Arab community in Germany organized a massive demonstration in Berlin to condemn the Israeli aggression on occupied Al-Quds and the besieged Gaza Strip. German and foreign activists took part in the event to voice their solidarity with the Palestinians.

The demonstrators called on the German government to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its flagrant aggression on the strip and force it to implement the international legitimacy resolutions, stop attacking Palestinian Christian and Islamic sanctities in Al-Quds and halt settlement expansion in the Palestinian territories.
