Demonstrations in Arab cities and capitals denouncing Al-Mamadani Hospital massacre

Capitals, (ST) – Thousands of Jordanians  on Wednesday demonstrated in the capital, Amman, in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, a day after the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre in the Al-Mamadani Hospital un Gaza in which hundreds of women, children and elderly were killed.

The Participants in the demonstrations that took place near the occupation’s embassy in Amman chanted many slogans denouncing the Israeli occupation and demanding an end to its aggression against Gaza Strip.

Also today, the Tunisian capital witnessed a student demonstration denouncing the Zionist aggression and massacres against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

According to the Tunisian newspaper “Al-Shorouk”, the Tunisian students started moving from Al-Habib Bourguiba Street in front of the National Theater and went towards the headquarters of the French Embassy in Tunisia, where they gathered and raised the Palestinian and Tunisian flags. They also chanted slogans against Zionism, demanding the expulsion of the ambassadors of the countries that support “Israel”  in Tunis.

Protests were also held in some Lebanese cities in solidarity with Gaza, including the city of Tripoli, which witnessed a solidarity sit-in organized at Tripoli Governmental Hospital.

The Participants condemned the occupation forces’ targeting of the Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza, and expressed their solidarity with the families of the victims. They stressed that targeting hospitals is rejected by all principles of humanitarian and medical law.

The Egyptian capital, Cairo, also witnessed a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, denouncing the violations of the Israeli occupation and its aggressive practices against civilians and children in Gaza Strip.
