Demonstrations and sit-ins in support of the Palestinian people in central Vienna

Vienna, (ST) – Dozens demonstrated late yesterday evening in front of the main university building in the center of the Austrian capital, Vienna, while a group of Arab and Austrian students and friendly groups set up protest camps demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators moved into the lobby of the old Vienna Hospital building and set up tents in the Sigmund Freud Garden and on the university campus.

The demonstrators raised slogans and banners calling for an end to the aggression against Gaza and the crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinian people and to allow humanitarian aid to reach the people in Gaza Strip.
