Demonstration in Toronto, rejecting the occupation plans to annex Palestinian lands

The Canadian city ‘Toronto’ witnessed a massive demonstration rejecting the plans of the Israeli occupation to annex parts of the occupied West Bank.

Participants in the demonstration called by the Palestinian Youth Union and the Palestinian Arab Association in cooperation with the boycott movement and Canadian friendly societies affirmed their absolute rejection of the annexation and settlement plans and the so-called “deal of the century” and stressed the need to end the occupation and support the struggle of the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights.

 

The participants demanded that the Canadian government recognize the state of Palestine and its capital, Jerusalem, and to punish the occupation for its crimes against the Palestinians.

The announcement by the Israeli occupation authorities of its plans to annex parts of the occupied West Bank in implementation of what so-called “deal of the century” that aims to liquidate the Palestinian issue’ caused wide Palestinian and international rejection. Palestinian cities and towns and a number of European and American cities witnessed massive demonstrations in rejection of these plans.
