Demonstration in Deir Ezzor countryside protesting against SDF militia’s aggressive practices and crimes of looting Syrian oil

Citizens in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor took to the streets in protest against the aggressive and provocative practices of the US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) towards civilians and in condemnation of the militia’s acts of stealing the oil resources in the Syrian al-Jazira region.

Local sources told SANA reporter that locals in the town of Abu Hamam organized a demonstration to protest against the SDF militia’s oppressive acts, its control over the area’s resources and its blackmail practices towards the citizens.

The demonstrators, who closed the main roads amid a general strike by all shops in the town, called for putting an end to the SDF militia’s aggressive practices and acts of looting and vandalism.

Several areas in Deir Ezzor and Hasaka countryside have been witnessing demonstrations protesting against the crimes of the SDF militants, which caused the death and injury of dozens of citizens. The demonstrators also condemned the militia’s acts of kidnapping many locals in Deir Ezzor countryside and its subordination to the orders of the American occupation forces.
