Beirut, (ST) – The Lebanese capital Beirut yesterday witnessed a demonstration in front of the Turkish embassy in Beirut to denounce the intervention of the Turkish regime in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh region.
The demonstrators held banners and chanted slogans denouncing the Turkish regime’s intervention in the ongoing conflict in Nagorno Karabakh.
Last Thursday, Armenian President Sarkisian reiterated that the Turkish regime is directly involved in the conflict in the Nagorno Karabakh region.
On September 27, armed clashes erupted on the contact line between Azerbaijani and Armenian forces in the aforementioned region and adjacent areas, in the most dangerous escalation between the two parties in nearly three decades. The two sides exchanged accusations about who started the fighting.
