Demonstration in Al-Areesheh area in Hasakah countryside in protest against SDF militia’s crimes

Locals in Al-Areesheh area in Hasakah countryside took to the streets in protest against the aggressive practices of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia which harasses the citizens and loots their resources, according to SANA reporter.

Protestors called for the expulsion of the SDF militia from their area and for putting an immediate end to the militia’s crimes towards the locals, including the kidnapping of young men and recruiting them within the militia’s ranks.

The protestors burnt tires to block the highway in Al-Areesheh between Hasakah and Al-Shaddadi area in addition to a number of branch roads.

Several demonstrations were held in Hasakah and Deir Ezzour during the past months. Demonstrators condemned the criminal practices of the SDF militia towards the locals.
