Deir Ezzour: QASAD militiamen raid al-Baghouz town in eastern countryside & abduct several citizens

Deir Ezzour (ST): The US occupation forces-backed QASAD militia carried out new attacks and abducted a number of civilians in al-Baghouz town in Deir Ezzour eastern countryside.

Local sources said that an armed group affiliated to QASAD militia attacked today al-Baghouz town in Deir Ezzour countryside, stormed several houses in Al-Alawe neighborhood and kidnapped five of the town’s residents and took them to an unknown destination.

The sources pointed out that QASAD militia is trying to repress the increasing popular attempts to expel it, along with the US occupation forces, from the region, by carrying out attacks ,taking the targeting of its headquarters and points of its deployment in al-Jazira region as a pretext to carry out such savage attacks.

Deir Ezzour countryside has been witnessing popular protests calling for the expulsion of the US occupation and QASAD militia, which has been pressing ahead in provoking the people, stealing their properties, besieging a number of villages and towns, arresting dozens of young men, targeting notables and stealing the sources of al-Jazira region.
