Deir Ezzour (ST): The US-backed SDF militia raided the town of Jadid Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour and kidnapped a number of residents.
Local sources said that armed men from the SDF militia raided several houses and shops in the town of Jadid Akidat and kidnapped a number of citizens and took them to the compulsory recruitment camps to force them to fight within its ranks.
The SDF militia, with the support of the American occupation forces, has stepped up raids and kidnapping of citizens, especially among young men, and taking them to recruitment camps in an attempt to compensate for the heavy losses suffered by the militia in recent months as a result of killing and wounding hundreds of its militants in attacks targeting them throughout the areas of its deployment in the countryside of Hasakah, Deir Ezzour and Raqqa.
