Deir Ezzour clans voice adherence to national unity, back Syrian army’s fight against terrorism

DEIR EZZOUR, (ST)- Participants in the Forum of the Tribes and Clans of Euphrates Valley region in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzour have affirmed their adherence to Syria’s national principles and sovereignty over its sacred soil. They vowed to continue supporting the Syrian Arab Army in the confrontation of takfiri terrorism, separatist groups and all forms of aggression against Syria.

The forum was attended by a large number of the Euphrates region tribes’ notables and dignitaries.

In a statement, the participants voiced support for national unity and for the army’s battles to fight takfiri terrorists, separatist groups and all forms of aggression.

Sheikh of al-Bakara Tribe Nawaf al-Bashir told SANA that all the clans and tribes of the Euphrates Valley are against the scheme of the American occupation and its affiliated groups which are colluding with the American occupier to implement a division scheme in Syria’s northeastern region.”

He said that the US division scheme will be foiled and the occupiers will be expelled from the Syrian territories thanks to the heroic deeds of the Syrian army and the wise leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad, al-Bashir said.

Other speakers emphasized that the forum is an opportunity to unify efforts to enhance reconciliation and reconstruct what terrorism had destroyed.
