The Public Establishment for Drinking Water and Sewage in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with UNICEF, has maintained and reconstructed the five stations of Al-Sham Road in Deir Ezzor, which feed the entire neighborhoods of the city.
he Director of the Establishment, Jassim Al-Hamid, stated to SANA that the production capacity of the five stations is 960 cubic meters per hour. They were put into service in 2018 after maintenance was carried out as a result of the damage caused due to the terrorist acts. The maintenance of these stations is carried out in stages in order to continue feeding the city’s neighborhoods with water during the maintenance period.
In turn, head of the Sham Road stations, Amer Naji, noted that the maintenance work includes installing new pumps, maintaining filters, and replacing filters in the five stations, in addition to civil, electrical and mechanical works.
