The Defense ministers of Syria, Russia and Turkey on Wednesday held trilateral talks in Moscow.
According to SANA correspondant in Moscow, the talks dealt with ways to find a solution in Syria, the refugees issue, the counter-terrorism efforts, and the need to continue dialogue in order to stabilize the situation in the region.
SANA correspondant quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement today that “trilateral talks were held on December 28, 2022, between the defense ministers of the Russian Federation, Syria and Turkey during which the situation in Syria, the refugee issue and the joint efforts to fight extremist groups in Syria were discussed”.
The correspondent added that following the meeting, the three ministers hailed the constructive nature of the dialogue in this format and the need to keep at it in order to stabilize the situation in Syria as well as in the entire region.
