Defense Minister visits army units in Daraa

DARAA,(ST)_Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Defense Minister visited today army units in Daraa city and in its countryside.

Lieutenant General Fahd Jassim al-Freij conveyed President al-Assad’s greetings and his pride in the achievements of the army units in confronting terrorist organizations.

He asserted the continuity of war against terrorist organizations till the achievement of victory and restoration of stability and peace to all areas nationwide.

On their parts, the soldiers vowed to go ahead with fulfilling their national duty.

Moreover, Leaders of military areas visited the tombs of martyrs and laid wreaths on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces.
