Defense Minister: Syrian Army to Press Ahead with Fighting Terrorism

DAMASCUS, (ST)-Defense Minister Lt Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij has stressed that “the Syrian Arab Army will press ahead with their mission to eliminate terrorists and foil the conspiracies of terrorism supporter and sponsors.

Lt Gen. al- Freij was speaking during a visit to one of the air bases in Syria’s southern region after being delegated by President Bashar Al-Assad, the General Commander of the Army and Armed Forces.

Al-Freij, who extended President Al-Assad’s appreciation for the Syrian air force’s heroic deeds and their courage in implementing their missions, hailed the fighters’ efforts and readiness to confront the terrorist groups.

On their part, the fighters affirmed their preparedness to defend Syria against terrorism and enemies’ aggression until security and stability is restored to the homeland.
