Defense Minister in Tehran for Talks on Cooperation in Terrorism Fighting

TEHRAN, (ST)- Defense Minister and Deputy Commander in Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Fahd Jasem al-Freij started on Tuesday a two-day visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran leading  a military delegation.

Al-Freij is due to meet his Iranian counterpart Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan and some Iranian military leaders to discuss ways of enhancing coordination and cooperation between the armies of the two countries in fighting terrorism and in facing common challenges as to ensure elements of security and stability in the region.
