Death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip climbs to 10,812

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Thursday that the Israeli occupation committed 20 massacres over the past 24 hours that claimed the lives of 249 Palestinians and that raised the number of the victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which continues for 34th day, to 10,812 martyrs, including 4,412 children, in addition to 26,905 wounded.

Regarding the Israeli violations of the health system, the ministry said that the occupation bombed 130 health institutions in which 195 paramedics were martyred. The attacks also caused the destruction of 51 ambulances and led 18 hospitals and 46 healthcare centers to go out of service as a result of bombardment and lack of fuel in Gaza hospitals.

Countdown for the stoppage of services at the Indonesian Hospital and Kamal Edwan Hospital has started as they are expected to go out of service after 24 hours. The same is applied to Al-Shifaa Medical Complex, according to the ministry.

The ministry pointed out that the occupation shelled Al-Shifaa Medical Complex and Al-Naser Children Hospital, injuring many displaced people who sought refuge there.

“We made multiple distress calls regarding the catastrophic health situation in hospitals in Gaza Strip, which reached all relevant institutions, but unfortunately we received no response, which led to fuel running out in several new hospitals in Gaza and in the north of the Strip,” the ministry added.

The Ministry announced that the only government eye hospital and the only mental health hospital in Gaza Strip had stopped working and became out of service, and that all medical services for children in Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospitals for Children and Al-Nasr Children’s Hospitals had stopped, and the last medical line for children’s services in the Gaza Strip had stopped, especially in the Gaza and the north of the Strip.
