Death of a child in explosion of bomb left behind by ISIS terrorists in northeastern Salamiyah countryside

A girl was killed by the explosion of a cluster bomb left behind by ISIS terrorists in the village of Abu al-Fashafish, affiliated to al-Saan district, in Salamiyah countryside.

SANA’s reporter in Hama stated that “a bomb left by ISIS terrorists exploded in the village of Abu al-Fashafish in al-Saan district in the northeastern Salamiyah countryside, killing a 10-year-old girl.”

In a statement to SANA reporter, Dr. Osama Melhem, director of Salamiyah Hospital, where the girl was taken, said she was seriously injured by the bomb explosion which in turn caused her death.

Before their defeat from the areas in which they were deployed, the terrorists of ISIS and other terrorist organizations planted and hid mines and explosive devices in villages and towns and in agricultural lands to inflict the greatest possible harm on the people. Last month, a child was martyred in the explosion of a landmine left behind by terrorist groups in Al-Fanat area in the northern Salamiyah countryside.
