Dashti: The hypocrisy of the countries of the coalition of aggression against Syria harms the credibility of international law
Geneva (ST): The President of the International Council for Supporting a Fair Trial and Human Rights, Abdul Hamid Dashti, condemned the hypocrisy of the countries of the coalition of aggression against Syria and their hostile recommendations against the Syrian people, praising the measures taken by the Syrian government to ensure a decent life for its citizens despite the imposed coercive measures.
Dashti explained in his speech before the Human Rights Council that the report submitted by the Syrian delegation to the Human Rights Council confirms the Syrian government’s work to ensure a decent life for its citizens after it has restored security and basic services to all liberated governorates despite the challenges facing Syria and its duty to protect its sovereignty and independence. Confronting terrorist groups and seeking to liberate its entire territory from the Israeli, Turkish and American foreign occupation.
Dashti pointed out that the “disgusting hypocrisy” practiced by the countries of the coalition of aggression against Syria and their hostile recommendations against the Syrian people harm the credibility of international law at a time when the Syrian government is making tremendous efforts for the livelihood and protection of citizens despite the high costs of the war that it bears as a result of fighting terrorism and minimizing the spread of terrorism, and the effects of unilateral economic sanctions.
Dashti pointed out that the United States, the Israeli occupation entity and the Turkish regime presented politically motivated allegations against Syria, referring to their crimes and grave violations committed on Syrian soil and against the Syrian human being.
