Damascene houses are characterized by vast area of land surrounded by endocrine walls and rarely contain a window on the street.

The trees are not only for decoration but people can take their fruit to make jams which are  famous in Damascus and from the jasmine flowers are produced essential oils which are placed in the bedrooms to help you relax and sleep the walls are decorated with colorful mosaics and you can see in the corner of the courtyard a large furnished Ewan by sofas and carpets were prepared to sit in the summer evenings house contains two-story first level fit for summer days because of the moisture halls and upper level which is suitable winter because it is far from moisture and arc more vulnerable to the sun, all the halls have walls which are covered with colored marble and decorated wood and the ground was paved with colored marble What distinguishes the House of Damascus are the engineering and decorations which make it more beautiful, and what is stupendous in recent years that tourists, including Arabs and foreigners, have consistently requested to stay in these homes to enjoy the splendor and beauty of the place.
