Damascus Governor holds talks with Iranian delegation over implementing joint project

DAMASCUS, Sep.5, (ST)- Today, the Governor of Damascus, Muhammad Tariq Krishati, discussed with an Iranian delegation headed by Hassan Shakhesi, Executive Director and Head of the Economic Committee of the Iranian-Syrian People’s Friendship Association,  ways of enhancing and developing cooperation relations between the two sides in all fields, especially economic and investment ones.

Krishati indicated the governorate’s readiness to cooperate in implementing joint projects and reconstruction ones and upgrading the prospects of investment in Syria that will be positively reflected on both sides.

For his part, Shakhesi drew attention to Syria’s  keenness to activate investment cooperation and exchange visits by delegations in a way that achieves the common interest and contributes to overcoming obstacles that may hinder the implementation of any project.
