Damascus Governor discusses with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy ways of cooperation in the fields of technology and renewable energies

Damascus (ST) – The Governor of Damascus, Muhammad Tariq Krishati, discussed on Monday with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Damascus, Vijay Pandey, ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of renewable energies, information technology, technology and human resources.

Krishati stressed the depth of the relations between the two countries and the importance of the contribution of Indian companies in the reconstruction phase in Syria. He noted the governorate’s permanent readiness to provide support and facilities for the events and activities held by the Indian embassy in Damascus.

In turn, Ambassador Bandi expressed his country’s readiness to provide support to Syria in the technical field, capacity-building and human resources, and the establishment of training courses. He stressed the importance of increasing bilateral coordination and cooperation to achieve the common interest of the two countries in all fields.
