Damascus Countryside: Buildings of the court and real estate interests in Daraya rehabilitated

Damascus Countryside (ST): The local council in the city of Daraya  in cooperation with the civil society has  completed the rehabilitation and restoration work of the buildings of the court  and real estate interests in the city that were badly affected by terrorism, with the aim of helping the people to complete their transactions easily and ease the burden of going to Damascus to complete them.

Head of the local council in the city, Marwan Obaid said that the two buildings are ready and they will be put into service  within a period of less than a month, noting that the Damascus Countryside Electricity Directorate agreed to the Council’s request to maintain and repair five electrical transformers to be installed in neighborhoods where there are no transmission centers.

Obaid added that work is underway to restore other services buildings, in addition to rehabilitating the park located in Al-Shraidi Square on an area of 2 dunums.

Last year, the local council, in cooperation with the civil society in Daraya, rehabilitated Al-Basil Square and Roundabout, and asphalted  a number of main roads.
