Damascus Cables Profits Exceed 6.770 billion pounds during the first quarter of 2022

The value of profits achieved by the General Company for Cables Industry in Damascus during the first quarter of this year exceeded 6,770 billion Syrian pounds, while the company sold during the same period 859 tons of various types of cables worth 23,744 billion pounds, with an implementation rate of 99 percent.

According to the production and marketing report of the company,  Damascus Cables produced 948 tons of various cables with a value of 30.074 billion pounds, at an implementation rate of 125 percent.

The report indicated that the company achieved profits last year amounting to 49.954 billion Syrian pounds, with an increase of 23.937 billion pounds over the year 2020. Damascus Cables also sold 3,393 tons of various types of cables at a value of 78.58 billion Syrian pounds, and the implementation rate of the plan amounted to 170 percent.

The company produced during the past year, according to the report, about 1,443 tons of bare cables, worth 63.082 billion, with an implementation rate of 231 percent and a quantity of 39 percent, and 1,943 tons of insulated cables, with a value of 18,007 billion pounds, with an implementation rate of 93 percent.
