Daesh A pre-Planned Plot, Says Rafsanjani

Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Saturday that hidden hands are now pulling the strings of Daesh terrorist group through their massive support which has created a very complicated situation in the region, according to IRNA.

Speaking in today’s meeting of the Expediency Council, he said some regional countries and outsiders have created Daesh.

Referring to recent developments in Iraq, he said the movements and acts of the terrorist group in Iraq is very serious and requires deep study and vigilance.

The actions of the terrorist group are seditious and a deeply rooted plot masterminded and orchestrated to affect the entire region, he said.

Those who pulling the strings of the group and provide them with equipment, medical treatment and political support have complicated the situation for the Iraqi nation, Rafsanjani said.

The enemies seek to sow seeds of discords among Muslims just like what they did in Afghanistan, he said, adding that the war mongers and supporters of terrorist groups are seeking their own interests and goals, he said.

He praised the significant role of Iraqi Ulema and religious leaders for mobilizing and uniting people in their struggle with terrorist groups and underlined that unity is the only means to resolve problems of Muslim world.

He also called for non-interference of aliens in Iraq’s developments.

Fattahi Condemns Savage Crimes By Daesh

Meanwhile, the Iranian parliamentarian Abed Fattahi said the savage crimes committed by the terrorist group Daesh stands in total contradiction with the principles of Islam and beliefs of over one billion Muslims in the world.

Fattahi, who heads the fraction of Sunni representatives in Majlis, told IRNA on Saturday that murdering, looting and beheading have no place in Islam.

On the contrary, he stressed, such practices are inspired by the brutal patterns used by the Zionist regime.

He underlined that any group committing massacres in the name of Muslims does in fact tarnish the face of Islam.

He reiterated that the degree of brutalism and backwardness manifested by the ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) terrorist group have even scared its masters.

He believed the roots of Daesh terrorist group could be well traced in the US, Israel and the UK.

Fattahi said the terrorist group massacres Muslims using the financial aid it receives from a number of back warded Arab governments and the arms supplied by the Zionist regime.

He said the world big powers are trying to destroy Muslims by Muslims through triggering such wars.

By focusing on the ruthless crimes committed by the Takfiris, he added, the world hegemonic powers are trying to create the notion that Islam is a savage and back warded religion while introducing themselves as the ones who have come to rescue people.

Obama not serious in fight on terrorism, says Abdollahian

On the other hand,  Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined that the US is not serious on combating terrorism in Iraq.

“Obama’s recent remarks showed that the White House lacks serious will for confronting terrorism in Iraq and the region,” Amir Abdollahian said on Friday.

The Iranian diplomat’s remarks came one day after Obama said he plans to send military advisors to Baghdad without announcing any further action against the Takfiri militants of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL(.

Amir Abdollahian said the US “delay” in fighting terrorism and the ISIL has “fuelled suspicions and doubts about the US objectives in Iraq.”

He added that the United States in concentrating its efforts on fueling sectarianism in Iraq instead of fighting terrorism there.
