Czech writer: The West supports and finances terrorists in Syria

Prague (ST):  Czech writer Vatslav Umlauv  has affirmed that the West supported, financed and armed the terrorists in Syria, and its hands are stained with the blood of the Syrians, but despite this its plans to target them were foiled.

Umlauv said in an article published today on the  “A Repubblica” website that the United States continues, despite the failure of its plans to arm and finance terrorists with its Western allies, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and at the same time it continues to steal Syrian oil and violate Syrian sovereignty, noting that the US must be tried before the International Criminal Court to be held accountable for the crimes committed in Syria.

Umlauv stressed the illegality of the US occupation of Syrian lands, especially that US officials have acknowledged that the goal of the continued presence of their forces in Syria is not to fight ISIS terrorist organization, but rather to pressure the Syrian state.
