Czech website: US military existence in Syria is illegitimate

Prague (ST): The Czech Národní Noviny website affirmed that the US military existence in Syria is illegitimate, noting that the US occupation forces are plundering Syrian oil and smuggling it.

The website added that the US occupation forces were trying to destroy the Syrian economy through the unilateral coercive measures, and this issue contradicts international law.

The website stressed that the US attack against a Syrian Arab army checkpoint in Qameshli countryside is considered an aggression.

Earlier, the US warplanes attacked a checkpoint for the Syrian Arab army south east of al-Qameshli causing the martyrdom of a soldier and the wounding of two others.
