The prominent Czech traveler Ondreje Havelka has described Syria as a beautiful country with an amazing history” that dates back to the beginnings of human cultural history.
In a new report published today on the website of the Slovak Sme newspaper, which included 21 colored photographs of archaeological, religious and tourist sites in Syria, Havelka pointed out that Syria is full of unique archaeological monuments, while the Syrians are characterized by generous hospitality, and therefore it is one of the preferred countries for tourism among the countries of the Middle East.”
Havelka also indicated that Damascus is considered one of the largest and oldest cities in the world, and Aleppo is one of the oldest and most rich cities at culture level in the world.
“The Syrian countryside is distinguished by its picturesque nature, “ the traveler said, referring to the eternal archaeological monuments in the Al-Hosn Citadel, Palmyra, the waterwheels of Hama, the Umayyad Mosque, and Maaloula.
A few weeks ago, Havelka published a similar video about his visit to Syria on the most widely circulated website in Czechia, Cesnam, in which he talked about Syria, its history, and its ancient civilization.
