Czech site: Citadel of Aleppo is an important archaeological landmark

(ST)- Czech site “Travel Mag.”, which specialized in tourism, stressed that Aleppo is a very important city that is full of great number of wonderful historical monuments.

The site said that the Citadel of Aleppo and the center of the city has been placed on the UNESCO list of the internationally protected human and cultural heritage, pointing out the beauty, privacy and history of the Citadel.

The site also shed light on the damages of several important monuments in Aleppo caused by terrorist attacks, including the Great Umayyad Mosque.

In an earlier report, the Czech site described Syria as an exceptional country full of monuments and interesting places whose history is linked to the oldest human civilizations, indicating that its visit is a dream of every traveler.
