The Czech researcher Vlasta Havilka has stressed that the victory of President Bashar Al-Assad in the presidential elections has been a message by the Syrian people to the world confirming their confidence in their leader and their adherence to their right to determine the future of their country away from foreign interference.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague, Havilka said that “the wide participation of the Syrians inside the country and abroad in the presidential elections has been the result of their complete confidence in President Bashar Al-Assad’s policy,” stressing the Syrians’ determination to build a stronger, safer and more stable Syria.
He strongly criticized the media outlets of some countries supporting terrorist organizations in Syria, affirming that they aim at distorting the facts and promoting a false image about events in Syria.
