PRAGUE-The Czech President Milos Zeman has stressed that terrorism can’t be fought without the mobilization of the efforts of all countries of the world.
In a statement on Thursday, Zeman said “the fight against terrorism won’t be successful except if all countries of the world, particularly the Islamic states, unified their efforts on this purpose. “
Meanwhile, the Slovak Foreign Ministry condemned the non-stopped crimes of kidnapping and savage killing perpetrated by the “Daesh” terrorist organization as a means for blackmailing and terrorizing governments.
“This was evident through “Daesh” killing of the two Japanese hostages and the Jordanian pilot,” the ministry said in a statement, voicing its support for the international community’s efforts to eliminate terrorism, extremism, violence and hatred.
“These unjustified crimes stress again and again that the ideology and practices of “Daesh” don’t go in line with the internationally-recognized values and principles,” the ministry added.
“Daesh” has been committing horrible crimes in Syria and Iraq claiming the lives of thousands of people and displacing others. These terrorist acts also led to the destruction of the infrastructure of the two countries.
