Czech politician: Solving the Palestinian issue means implementing UN resolutions and ending the occupation

Prague (ST) – Former Czech Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek affirmed that resolving the Palestinian issue means implementing the United Nations resolutions on this issue.

Paroubek noted that the solution to the situation in Palestine must include the establishment of a Palestinian state with its lands, sovereignty, and representatives who enjoy broad international recognition.

For his part, Slovak political analyst Eduard Khmilar stressed that the Israeli occupation is one of the most brutal entities in the world.

“The illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands is accompanied with the killing of Palestinians and confiscation of their homes, so that the Palestinians have the right, in accordance with the United Nations Charter, to fight for freedom and dignity by various means, including armed resistance”, he added.

Khmilar stressed the importance of ending the Israeli occupation and ending the apartheid practiced by the Zionist entity against the Palestinians.
