Czech political movement: US military interventions contribute to the sabotage of many countries and the killing of hundreds of thousands
Prague (ST): The Czech Movement for Freedom and Direct Democracy affirmed that the US military interventions have contributed to the sabotage of many countries such as Syria, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths.
The movement said in a statement, commenting on the current developments in Afghanistan, that “the wrong strategy implemented by the West in resolving the situation in Afghanistan led to this great failure suffered by the United States and NATO,” noting that the Czech participation in the NATO operation was to serve the interests of the United States. It is not a service to Czech interests.
For his part, the former Slovak Prime Minister Robert Witso stressed that all the military interventions carried out by the United States in the world led to havoc and destruction in the countries in which it intervened.
He considered the humiliating withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan as a “huge defeat for it and a major blow to the credibility of the United States.”
