Czech newspaper: Syria contains many important historical and tourist attractions

Prague, (ST) – The Czech newspaper “A15” confirmed that Syria contains many important tourist and historical attractions that deserve visiting.

The newspaper referred to the beauty and heritage of Damascus, Aleppo and Palmyra.

The newspaper said in a report on Tuesday: Damascus is one of the oldest cities in the world in which life is still active, and it is also the cultural and spiritual center of the entire East. It added that Palmyra is also one of the most important and largest complexes of archaeological excavations in the world where the existing buildings that represent the era of the city’s prosperity combine elements of Hellenistic art and authentic Aramaic traditions.

The newspaper drew attention to the nobility and originality of the city of Aleppo, where it is still today, despite what it has gone through, retaining the character of an economically active city, due to the prosperity and diversity of its products and crafts.
