Czech MP: US-Led Coalition in Syria Is an Occuption Force

PRAGUE, (ST)- Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic has stressed that the illegal international coalition led by the United States, allegedly to fight Daesh terrorist organization in Syria, is actually an occupation force.

“The most urgent issue now is to put an end to the aggressive and terrorist activities being committed by the so-called international coalition and to halt the Turkish hegemony bids in the region, Grospic said in a statement on Saturday.

 He affirmed that any interference in Syria’s internal affairs is absolutely unacceptable, pointing out that only the Syrian people should decide their own future.

He hailed the Syrian-Czech deep-rooted cooperation, saying “we, in the group, are open to the enhancement of friendship and cooperation with Syria.”
