Czech-Moravian- Selzko Confederation of Trade Unions strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Syria

Prague(ST)-The Czech, Moravian and Silesian Confederation of Trade Union strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on Syria that target its territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens.

The Confederation affirmed in a statement that the Czech progressive trade unionists stand by the Syrian people and are confident that they will find the strength to confront terrorist organizations and obtain support from the international community and friendly countries.

The Confederation said in its statement: “The repeated Israeli attacks and escalating terrorist attacks against Syria reveal the true face of imperialism and the nature of the ruling powers in the United States, Britain and France, which have not stopped their efforts to target Syria.

The statement indicated that these countries, instead of abandoning their aggressive plans, continue to put tight bonds  on the Syrian economy through their unilateral coercive economic sanctions.

The Confederation renewed its expression of deep solidarity with the Syrian Arab people and the General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria in these difficult times that Syria is facing.
