Czech expert: Time has come for US forces to leave Syria so that stability and peace return to the region

Czech Middle East expert Peter Markfart has stressed that the presence of the US forces in the Syrian territories and in the Middle East region is illegal.

In an article published on social media platforms, Markfart said “the Americans’ claim that they are fighting terrorism in the region at a time when they, along with the British forces, are training terrorists at the Syrian Al-Tanf base, which is the area where ISIS terrorists are most active, is ridiculous and funny.

The time has come for the US forces to leave Syria and return to their country so that stability and peace return to the region, Markfart reiterated.

He pointed out that the increasing attacks on US bases in the Middle East were instigated by the illegal presence of the American forces in Syria and the region.
