Czech Companies Interested in Participating in Syria Reconstruction

Prague, (ST)-In a symposium organized by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague, tens of Czech companies have expressed their interest in participating in reconstruction projects in Syria and in implementing development programs there.

The symposium discussed ways to support the Czech participation in reconstructing Syria and Iraq by the public and private sectors.

In a statement, the Czech Foreign ministry said that some 80 representatives of Czech government establishments, private companies, non-government organizations took part in the symposium.

 The ministry made it clear that the symposium aimed at providing updated news about the situation in Syria and Iraq and at shedding light on the reconstruction fields in which the Czech parties can take part.
