Czech Communist Party: The solution to the conflict in the Middle East can only be achieved by guaranteeing the rights of the Palestinians

The Czech Moravian Communist Party affirmed that the solution to the conflict in the Middle East lies in adherence without any preconditions to United Nations resolutions and international law, ending the Israeli occupation and guaranteeing the right of the Palestinians to establish an independent, sovereign state.

The party said in a statement today: “The current escalation of the situation in the Gaza Strip clearly shows the importance of working to achieve a just peace in this region,” stressing that this peace can be achieved by ending the Israeli occupation of all occupied territories, stopping the establishment of settlements and implementing the right to the Palestinians by having an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital, in addition to enabling refugees to return to their homeland.
