Czech Ambassador Hails Reforms Achieved in Syria Despite Terrorist War on the Country

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Czech Ambassador in Damascus Eva Filipi has hailed the democratic atmosphere and the reforms achieved in Syria despite the terrorist war waged on the country.

During her meeting on Tuesday with Speaker of the People’s Assembly (PA) Hamouda al-Sabbagh, Filipi said “we have spared no effort as to help Syria surpass the ongoing crisis. We conveyed some facts about events in Syria to the European Union and we will continue our efforts in this respect.”

  She added that through the Czech-Syrian government program, the Czech Republic provides humanitarian aid as well as medical equipments to the Syrians affected by terrorism, stressing that the Czech people support the Syrian people and have realized how big the size of the conspiracy hatched against Syria is.

On his part, the PA speaker affirmed Syria’s keenness on enhancing the Syrian-Czech relations in all domains, mainly the parliamentary ties.

Sabbagh reiterated that Syria’s future will be made by the Syrians themselves without any foreign interference or dictates
