Czech Academic: Syria is distinguished by its ancient, amazing and diverse antiquities

The Czech academic and journalist Lenka Hrabalova has stressed that Syria is the cradle of human civilizations and it is distinguished with it ancient, amazing and diverse antiquities.

A report recently published by the “Peoples and Countries” travel and tourism magazine under the title “Syria is recovering”, Hrabalova said “Syria is the cradle of cultures and civilizations. Its antiquities remained everywhere in the country, but unfortunately, its cultural heritage was exposed to the biggest act of vandalism since the World War II by the terrorist organizations.”

The report included 10 color photos taken in Maaloula, Palmyra, the Umayyad Mosque, Homs and Damascus.

She clarified that despite the hardships and suffering due to the coercive measures imposed by the West on them, the Syrians remained noble, hospitable and friendly people who welcome visitors with open arms and look to the future with optimistic eyes.

Hrabalova, who recently visited Syria, gave a lecture at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Czech University of Olomouc, entitled “Syria is Recovering” in which she spoke about what she saw in Syria.
