Cuban: US aggression against Syria and Iraq is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states and international law

Cuba has condemned the aggression launched by the United States against Syria and Iraq, considering it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the two states and international law.

“Cuba strongly condemns the US aggression , which constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Syria and Iraq,” Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla wrote on X platform.

He added ” This irresponsible act  violates international law, further escalates  violence and increases the possibility of a regional conflict.”

At dawn on Saturday, the US  occupation forces launched an air attack on a number of sites and towns in the eastern region of Syria and near the Syrian-Iraqi border, which led to the martyrdom of a number of civilians and soldiers, the injury of others, and caused significant damage to public and private property.

The aggression also targeted sites in the west of  Anbar province  in Iraq, which caused many casualties.
