HAVANA, (ST) – Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the tents of displaced people in the city of Rafah, south of Gaza Strip, is a barbaric act and a crime against humanity. He called on the countries of the world to stop the ongoing massacre committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
Wafa News Agency quoted Canel as saying in a post on his account that Cuba condemns “Israel” and calls for strengthening solidarity with Palestine.
In turn, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said: “We condemn this attack which violates international humanitarian law”.
He added that this brutal massacre of hundreds of refugees is a clear evidence of what Israel has committed against the Palestinian people.
