Havana (ST): Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel affirmed that the policy of threats, sanctions and pressure practiced by the US administration prevents Cuba from completing its march, but it would not force it to change its policies.
In a statement he made during the annual meeting of the Cuban Ministry of Finance, Díaz-Canel denounced the increasing aggressiveness of the White House against Havana, stressing that the Cuban people and government would press ahead in resisting any punitive measures taken by the US against Cuba.
He added that Trump administration has been working to intensify financial, economic and commercial blockade against Cuba with the aim of creating a US colonialist platform in Latin America.
