Cuban Parliament condemns Israeli annexation plans

Havana (ST):  The International Committee at the Cuban National Assembly severely denounced the Israeli plans to annex parts of the Palestinian territories in the West Bank supported by the US administration, stressing that such a move constitutes a flagrant violation of the international law and the UN charter.

In a statement, the committee expressed categorical rejection of the Israeli expansionist settlement plans which violate the UN relevant resolutions.

The committee called on world parliaments and the international community to condemn the Israeli aggressive settlement policy, demanding an end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the necessity of  respecting the UN resolutions pertaining to the Palestine question.

The Cuban Parliament renewed Cuba’s support for finding a just and comprehensive solution for the Palestine question that enables the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
